Chief Executive Officer

The office of the Chief Executive Officer was established on 24th July, 2012 by the National Authority for the Campaign Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse Act, 2012. This office was previously referred to as the office of the National Coordinator.

Dr. William N. Okedi, HSC is the Authority’s current Chief Executive Officer. He assumed office in April, 2012 from his predecessor, Mr. Aggrey Busena who was the acting National Coordinator from 2010.

He has previously worked as Field Director HIV/AIDS Monitor Program for Center for Global Development and Country Director,   AMREF South Africa and Mozambique region.
