The objectives reflect the vision of NACADA AUTHORITY, which is:
“A world class organisation in the campaign against DSA in Kenya”
The objectives of the Authority are:
- To facilitate development of a comprehensive policy and legislative framework for the control and management of drug and substance abuse.
- To enhance youth preventive education and public empowerment.
- To facilitate enhancement of law enforcement and substance abuse, suppressor control through inter and multi-sectoral collaborative support networks.
- To strengthen the human resource and administration base for effective management and control of drugs and substances of abuse.
- To enhance research, policy, and development capacity.
- To facilitate establishment of public treatment and rehabilitation facilities
- To mobilize resources for drug and substance abuse strategic initiatives.
